Quick Results
On a scale of 1-10, if I could promise you quick results, how fast would you say “tell me more”?

She came to me because she wants to lose weight, as most clients do. My private Facebook groups are a place for her to hang out, engage, and get some tips…but it wasn’t enough. The appeal of some one-on-one help, guidance, accountability was strong enough that she reached out and scheduled a free call.
After the call, she committed to the 6 month one-on-one program, and we started right away. She has an even more chaotic life than I do, which is difficult to imagine! Scheduling sessions is difficult, finding time for her to get away from “life” is difficult. It requires flexibility on my part, and some on hers, but we are making it work.
There was a point when I was starting to feel like the chaos of life was going to be a real barrier. (Barrier does not equate to impossible, just FYI.) Can you imagine if the coach was feeling this, how the client has been feeling?!
Now…dig if you will, a picture…of my client telling me at the END of our last session that even though she spent several dozen hours in a car that week…even though she was in pain….even though she was mostly alone with figuring out how to accomplish everything on her to-do list with two small children, a few teenagers, and a couple of jobs….even though she is a newer client…she took several small but mighty action steps to help her reach her ultimate goal.
The awareness that she has developed in such a short period of time is going to be what really catapults her into success.
The confidence that she has started to develop in such a short period of time is going to be what really keeps her maintaining her success in the future.
The toolbox that she is already building in such a short period of time is going to be what really helps her crush those barriers as they come up.
The time management skills that she is already working on in such a short period of time are going to be what helps her say “no” to the things she doesn’t want to do and make her “yes” much more valuable.
These quick results are not guaranteed. These can be attributed to two things; her willingness and readiness to behavior change, and her surrendering to the possibilities. She could have very easily resisted any change, showed up to sessions with resistance.
She made the choice to invest in herself and participate in her own life.
So let me ask you a new question…
On a scale of 1-10, how much do you want to participate in your own life?
It’s okay. I’ll be waiting right over here. ;-)
